It seems that I have difficulty in making decisions. I can’t make up my mind immediately. I hesitate most of the time when I want to do something. For example, when I have to choose what I want to eat or which clothes I need to buy, I spent too much time to think about it. I always think too much when I make decisions. I consider about the advantages and disadvantages all the time. If I think the next step I am going to do is more difficult or it has less benefit, then, I have no power or courage to do this even if it is the right step. I know I am an irresolute person. I also know I need and I have to change this personality.

Christmas gift

One of my friends gave me a change purse as my Christmas present. The purse is as large as my palm, with sky blue color and a sun flower on it. I have a nickname called “little sun flower” in Chinese, so the gift has a special meaning to me. It is pretty cute and I like it very much. Besides, the most special thing is that the purse was made by him. All the materials was bought by him and sewed step by step. He told me that he is good at sewing. He made almost the presents by himself. I appreciate and admire him very much.

music

I love music. No matter what kind of music, I have a lot of interest to dabble. Because I like music, I began to play instruments. I like piano the most. I think piano is an amazing instrument that it can make wonderful melody. I also like drums, guitar, flute, and horns. When I was a senior high student I had joined in our school band and played a French horn. But I have some problems in music—I know not very much about pitch, tone and tempo. I couldn’t distinguish whether I played the right note or not. However, listening to music and playing instruments is my favorite interest.

eyesight

I found that my eyesight became much worse than before. I ordinarily wear contact lens in the daytime and wear glasses at night. Sometimes I feel not comfortable with my eyes but I didn’t pay much attention on it. I did not discover it until I went to buy a daily disposable contact lens today. It is just because I took the wrong type of contact lens home, and I returned to the company to change for the right type. I was suggested to examine again to make sure about my eye degree. If I did not make this mistake I will never know about my eyesight.

birthday party

Some of my friends and I went to a coffee shop near our school to celebrate one’s birthday. We had a delicious cake and cups of milk tea and coffee. The cake is a little different from those we had eaten before. It is chocolate flavor with ice cream in the middle. Actually, it is not really ice cream; I think it is a kind of freezing butter. When we cut the cake into pieces, we heard some strange sounds and felt hard to cut it. In the end, we found the answer. The sounds came from the ice cream. After eating the cake, we played poker. However, we all had a special and impressive moment.

friendship

How important friendship is? If you ask me this question ten years ago, I will tell you “Not important at all.” But if you ask me now, my answer must be “Very important.” When I was young, I was too shy to start a conversation actively. I almost say nothing in the conversation. When someone asks me a question, I will answer him or her. If none ask me something, I will say nothing. It is terrible to say nothing in a conversation. I just couldn’t help myself to have the courage to speak out. But now, I realized how important it is. I began to coerce myself to be more optimistic and extrovert. I want to change myself to be much happier with my friends.

Tomorrow is the 38th anniversary celebrations of our school. At that time, there will be a lot of activities to celebrate it. For instance, performances of cheer squad, dance, and so on. Unfortunately, I have to attend the ceremony; I am unable to enjoy those activities. However, because of the car exhibition, there will be lots of vendors on campus. I think it is very special to have a kind of night market on campus in the daytime. I can go around and buy something to eat after the ceremony as if I am in the night market. It really excited me.

a gift

One of my friends asked me what he can buy as a present to a girl. He has no idea about this, so he asked me about some suggestions. I suggested him buying some things that a girl really needed. For example, he can buy some lotion, make-up, or sanitary napkin. These are very useful for a girl. If I was that girl, I am sure that I will use it. In my opinion, a gift should be a valuable thing—something I can really use it. Take sanitary napkin as an example, if someone gives me as a present, I will be really happy and grateful because I can use it instead of putting aside.

Christmas is one of the major festivals in the United States. People have a dinner with their family together. I think it is a very special and blessed day for them. In Taiwan, we don’t have many activities on Christmas. Only some churches in Taiwan will celebrate Christmas Day. It’s a pity that we don’t celebrate Christmas Day. However, my friends—Cindy, Winnie, Elisa are going to have some activities to celebrate Christmas. We plan to change presents and have a hearty dinner. Although we are not as ceremonious as American, we all take this day seriously. I cannot wait for the day coming.

no water

Some districts in Tainan will suspend water supply on this weekend. It means that the inhabitants have no water for over two days. I don’t like to live without water, so do anyone like. I would rather have an electric power cut than suspend water supply. If I have no electricity, I can’t listen to music, watch television, play computer, and everything which needs it. However, I think it is okay if I can’t do all these things, except no air conditioner in summer. I can’t imagine that I have no water to take a bath even in winter. I need water to clean myself. Water is much more important for me, more important than electricity for me.

My apartment in Tainan is not a well soundproofed building. Whoever passes through my room, I can hear their sound clearly. However, the most interesting thing is that I can hear my neighbor’s sounds from the next room perfect clear. On condition that I do nothing and it is extremely silent in my room, I can hear everything. For example, when he brushes his teeth, takes a bath, urinates, keyboards, or sings songs, no matter what he does, even when he zips that I can hear clearly. I’m not sure if he knows that I can hear these sounds. What I am concerned is that he might be able to hear my sounds perfect clear. It means that whatever I do, he must know what I am doing. Ah…it is quite terrible.

Zoo Keeper

Recently, I am crazy about a game on the Internet called “Zoo Keeper”. The rule is that you have to make at least three animals together in line to make them disappear so that you can pass to the upper level. Every time you pass a level, the speed will become faster and the animal will become much more than before. Until now I pass to the eighth level. It is too fast to reach to the ninth level. Whenever I play this game, I can’t stop myself playing, unless the game over in the low level. It make me too angry to keep playing.

Yesterday Cindy, Elisa, Winnie, Erica and I went to night market for dinner. Every time we go to night market, we always eat steak. But this time, we wanted something different. Later, we decided to eat “Mongolian Barbecue”. It was our first time to eat this. All of us didn’t know what kind of food it is. When our dishes came, we all dumbfounded. We couldn’t believe that Mongolian Barbecue is just a dish with little meat and two or three kinds of vegetables stir-fry together. The most important thing is that it cost us one hundred dollars but we didn’t eat anything worthy. We all decided not to eat Mongolian Barbecue anymore.
