Today is not my day, and it is not our day. The typhoon made every one of us looked like a drowned rat. Even thought I opened my umbrella, my pants were all wet, because the wind was too strong to spread an umbrella. If you insist on opening your umbrella, you must say good bye to it.

You said "looked", but it should be "look", and "even thought", but it should be "even though".
Ping has made a good suggestion, but if you do split that long sentence into two, you must leave out the "because".
