being crazy

After our dinner today, Elisa, Winnie and I went to Cindy’s room. At the beginning, we were just chatting. Don’t know why, we began to take photos by the camera on Cindy’s computer. We made faces in many different ways. Every one of us had a role to play. For example, I had a role that I was the leader of a gang, and Elisa was my wife. I know we were all crazy, but it is really funny. When we finished our role playing game, a thought flash through my mind: why did we use the computer instead of using the digital camera by the side of me?

that's a crazy night. you will find those pictures are "funny and silly" if you browse them again.

"Don’t know why, we began to take": I would add a "but" in front of "we" ==> "Don’t know why, but we began to take". That makes it natural English instead of a comma-spliced pair of clauses.

"I had a role that I was the leader of a gang,". This is verbose. Say only "I was the leader of a gang" or "my role was the leader of a gang".

"but it is really funny": it's over now, so "is" should be "was" ==> ""but it was really funny".

"the digital camera by the side of me?" is not natural English. It should be "the digital camera (sitting) right next to me?"

Except for these few small mis-usages, a good post.

I think you used the PC camera because it was faster and everyone could see the pictures immediately after they were taken. Plus, the screen on the PC is larger than the screen on the digital camera.

It was really interesting that we took a lot of "funny" pictures. If we see those pictures in the future,I think it is a good memory.
